Down goes another pump station. This one is out on the Myakka River and will be used to pull water from the river and then from there it’s injected into a deep well that’s over 1,000 feet deep. The purpose of this is to replenish the aquifer while also drawing down ground water levels in order to allow native species of plants and tree to grow back 💪🏼 🇺🇸

Our latest and greatest project is underway for @m

Our latest and greatest project is underway for @manateegov in Bradenton. This project will involve construction of a new pump station and five thousand feet of new 24” and 36” underground piping; demo of two existing pump stations; two new water intake structures on the bottom of the two lakes that feed our new pump station; 36” intake pipeline installed via the micro-tunnel process. There will be nine thousand feet of existing lake shoreline that we’ll construct to reverse erosion issues the county is experiencing on their reservoirs. There is a lot of wildlife we’ll be working around, and in some cases we’ll have to relocate. So far we’re aware of a dozen alligators, several bald eagles, a couple dozen gopher tortoises, and we also will be removing approx. 300,000 Tilapia from the lakes
