About TLC Diversified

Who we are

TLC Diversified Inc. is an industry leading general contractor serving the water & wastewater industry. Our goal is to consistently build top quality water and wastewater treatment facilities in the most efficient, safest and professional manner possible. We take great pride in exceeding the expectations of our clients, employees, partners and communities. Our honest business practices, coupled with our desire to be the best at what we do, drives our success and growth.

“Our heritage stems from two individuals who shared two separate passions for two different industries. The two cannot succeed without the other — construction and accounting. And as the old adage goes… the rest is history.”

Building since 1985.

Where it all began

TLC (Thurston Lamberson Corporation) was founded in 1985 out of the garage of Thurston’s then longtime friend and co-worker, later to become wife and business partner, Joanne Lamberson. Thurston had a long history and passion for design, engineering and construction, while Joanne shared an equal level of interest in the field of accounting and finance. The merger between these two galvanized the company’s rise to prominence in Florida where TLC is highly revered as one of the best in the industry.

What started as nothing more than a dream, backed by a small personal loan and logo sketched onto a napkin, TLC has gone from a small utility contractor performing simple lift station rehabs and miscellaneous treatment plant infrastructure projects ranging in the $100,000 to $500,0000 range, to a full-service General Contractor specializing in water and wastewater infrastructure projects from $1,000,000 to north of $10,000,000.

Facing towards the future

TLC has grown leaps and bounds over the past 30 plus years, thanks to our expert construction professionals whom have formed a team that has become one of Florida’s largest General Contractors that serves the water and wastewater industry. Due to our diverse background of design, construction, and problem solving techniques, we have constructed more than $600 million worth of water and wastewater infrastructure projects since TLC’s inception and have been ranked among the top 100 largest construction firms in the Southeast by Engineering News-Record.

We continue to build on our strong foundation and are constantly improving our scope of services by delivering projects faster and more efficiently through our extensive pool of resources, aggressively sharing knowledge at an accelerated pace and demonstrating our willingness to change and adapt.
